Michael Dean
Michael began his career in publishing in 2016 as Andrew Nurnberg’s assistant and has remained with the agency ever since. He represents New York Times and Sunday Times bestsellers across fiction and nonfiction, and prestigious literary estates. These include winners of the Pulitzer Prize, the Samuel Johnson/Baillie Gifford Prize, the Prix Goncourt, the Strega Prize, the MWA Grand Master Award, the CWA Gold Dagger, the International Prize for Arabic Fiction, the Hugo Award, the Pushkin House Prize, and the Index on Censorship Freedom to Publish Award.
Michael is open to nonfiction submissions in history, current affairs, biography and geopolitics, with particular interests in intelligence studies and the history of war. In fiction he is open to submissions of international thrillers and espionage.
