Martin Cruz Smith
Martin Cruz Smith’s novels include Gorky Park (1981), Stallion Gate (1986), Polar Star (1989), Red Square (1992), Rose (1996), Havana Bay (1999), Wolves Eat Dogs (2005), Stalin’s Ghost (2007) and Three Stations (2010). A recipient of the CWA Gold Dagger for fiction in the UK, he is also two-time winner of the Hammett Prize in the United States. He was awarded the Italian Grinzane Cavour Prize at the Piemonte Noir Festival in 2008. He lives with his wife and children in northern California.
