Stranger

When a boy staggers out of the forest, naked, wounded, covered only in mud and blood, Emmy tells Sadie to run for help while she stays with him. In those minutes, a bond is formed between the boy and Emmy – a bond which later turns to love and desire and will be sorely tested by the shocking events which unravel in the wake of the boy’s arrival. When, deep in the forest some months later, a decaying body is found, shot through the head, Emmy is forced to re-evaluate everything she has come to know about the boy she loves.
True Grit meets Wuthering Heights meets Room, with a touch of The Wasp Factory.
