Matt is an author and a broadcaster who has presented on some of the UKs most popular TV shows like Nickelodeon, The Big Breakfast and I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! Although, he would readily admit that he has presented some of the UKs worst ever shows too! You can currently hear him talking on Magic FM where he does a show at the weekends.

The first in the Dreary Inkling series, Aliens Invaded My Talent Show!, was published by Usborne in June 2018, followed by Mutant Zombies Cursed My School Trip in March 2019 and Killer Vending Machines Wrecked My Lunch in July 2019.

He has also written four books in his Compton Valance series (Usborne); The Most Powerful Boy In The Universe, The Time Travelling Sandwich Bites Back, Super F.A.R.Ts versus The Master Of Time, and the Revenge of the Fancy-Pants Time Pirate.

Matt currently writes his stories in a shed, in his garden, in Buckinghamshire. He was recently voted “the greatest writer ever in the history of the world” by Stockport Grammar School, knocking Shakespeare into second place! He was once bitten by a dolphin and his head is too big for hats.
