Fabiano Massimi was born in Modena in 1977 and lives in Formigine, where he manages the local public library. After graduating in Philosophy between Bologna and Manchester, he has worked for years as a fiction editor and translator for some of the main Italian publishers (Einaudi, Feltrinelli, Longanesi). He teaches at Scuola Holden, Italy’s most important creative writing school, and writes historical thrillers and contemporary crime published by Longanesi and Mondadori. His debut novel L’angelo di Monaco has appeared in 10 languages, garnering awards both in Italy and abroad (most recently, the renowned Grand Prix de Lecteurs in France). A German-French TV series is currently in production.
