We are very excited by the news that Keren David’s What We’re Scared Of (Scholastic) has been shortlisted for the Bristol Teen Book Award 2021/22. The award ceremony will take place provisionally on 16th February, 2022. Congratulations to Keren, as well as the other authors on the shortlist!

The latest YA novel from award-winning author Keren David, What We’re Scared Of explores the realities of modern-day antisemitism in the UK.

Interweaving Holocaust survivor testimony with fiction, made possible by Keren David’s work with JW3 and The Jewish Chronicle, the novel explores antisemitism from the point of view of teenage twin sisters living in London when their family is targeted by social media trolls.
