The Last House on Needless Street a Richard & Judy Book Club Pick

Congratulations to Catriona Ward, whose third novel THE LAST HOUSE ON NEEDLESS STREET is a Richard & Judy Book Club Pick this autumn. Judy Finnigan described it as “one of the most sinister and thrilling novels I’ve read in a very long time … it’s deeply unsettling and unmistakeably gothic.” The six book-club picks will be featured in a series of podcasts, launching on 30th September. A special book club edition of each title, featuring bonus content, will be available from WH Smith. Waterstones, meanwhile, are selling a special edition of the paperback, with beautiful sprayed edges. In the US, the hardback will be published by Tor Nightfire on 28th September, with their edition chosen as one of Crime Reads’ most anticipated books of 2021 (Fall and Winter edition) and one of Book Riot’s Best Books to Keep You Scared in 2021. The book is currently sold in over 20 territories, with film rights snapped up by Andy Serkis’s The Imaginarium.
