Kirsten Boie becomes an Honorary Citizen of Hamburg

Congratulations to Kirsten Boie, who has been made an Honorary Citizen of Hamburg in recognition of her literary and life’s work, the Senate said on Tuesday 17th December.
“Kirsten Boie is an extraordinary writer. Her stories have shaped the childhoods of young readers for more than 30 years now. They have moved, brought joy and have helped children to navigate their path to adulthood and encourage to believe in themselves even in very difficult situations,” said Hamburg’s First Mayor Peter Tschentscher (SPD).
