Boris Akunin longlisted for the EBRD Prize 2020

Boris Akunin’s final Erast Fandorin novel, NOT SAYING GOODBYE (Weidenfeld, 2019), has been longlisted for the EBRD Literature Prize 2020. A previous novel in the series, ALL THE WORLD’S A STAGE (Weidenfeld, 2017), was a finalist for the inaugural prize when it was launched two years ago by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, to promote translated literary fiction. The prize, worth €20,000, is shared equally between author and translator. The three finalists will be announced on 30 March and the winner on 22 April.
