Antony Beevor’s major history of the Russian Revolution and Civil War to Weidenfeld & Nicolson

We are delighted to announce that leading military historian Sir Antony Beevor has begun research on his next work, Russia: Revolution and Civil War 1917-1921. The book was commissioned by Alan Samson at Weidenfeld & Nicolson, to join Beevor’s major war books The Second World War and The Battle for Spain: The Spanish Civil War 1936-1939.
Antony Beevor’s number one bestselling Arnhem: The Battle for the Bridges was published earlier this year by Viking, to whom Beevor expects to return for his next Second World War battle book, in a longstanding relationship which has included Ardennes 1944, D-Day, Berlin and Stalingrad.
