Rhys Jones
Rhys Jones was born in Neath, South Wales, in 1991. He received a First in History at the University of Cambridge, where he also completed his PhD on the politics of time during the American and French Revolutions. Between 2016 and 2019, he was Research Fellow at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge.
He has written and presented three documentaries for BBC Radio 4 on politics, culture and time, including ‘Superfast Politics’ (2017) and ‘OK, Boomer!’ (2020). His first book, about revolution and time in eighteenth-century France, Haiti and the US, will be published by Simon & Schuster in 2026. He is a barrister at Blackstone Chambers in London
