Nastaran is a journalist fascinated by the economy and the psyche. She loves to delve into the personal and societal forces which shape our lives. She currently hosts current affairs radio shows at the BBC, where she was previously a business and technology reporter. She’s the founder and co-host of the hit podcast The Gender Knot – recommended by The Financial Times, Buzzfeed and Time Magazine – where men and women come together to figure out how to move forward in our turbulent times. She also writes opinion pieces for a range of publications, including Quartz and the Washington Post. She studied Economics at the LSE and attended Columbia Journalism School and also speaks Farsi.
