Maya Sharp grew up in rural Yorkshire but now lives in Leeds. The wind-torn landscape of home informs much of her writing and she adores wild, remote places. Maya is works freelance as a photographer and photographer’s assistant, specialising in food advertising and dynamic, sunny lighting. She was shortlisted for the 2025 world food photography awards.
