Malgorzata Rejmer
Małgorzata (Margo) Rejmer (b. 1985) is a graduate of cultural studies at the University of Warsaw. In 2009, she published her first full-length novel, Toksymia. In 2013, she published a work of literary reportage on Romania, Bucharest. Dust and Blood, which won her several accolades and was translated into six languages. Mud Sweeter than Honey, on Albania, is her fourth book, for which she was awarded the Polityka Passport in 2019. The English-language edition will be published in the UK by MacLehose Press and in the US by Restless Books and rights have also sold in Italy (Keller Editore) and Spain (La Caja). An excerpt was published online in Granta. She is now working on a follow-up work of reportage about contemporary Albania.
