Jamilah Christian is a Black African-Caribbean Canadian writer and college student based in Toronto. She is currently pursuing a diploma in Social Service Work while working on her debut: Aegis – What Waits Beyond, a dystopian YA novel. She has been passionate about storytelling from a young age, with her more recent writing being previously shortlisted for a short story competition on Reedsy Prompts. Aegis blends emotional depth, survival, and slow-burn queer romance, reflecting Jamilah’s interest in character-driven speculative fiction
