Hazel Atkinson
Originally from the North East of England, Hazel now lives in Edinburgh, having graduated with a degree in History and Classics in 2018.
Having been writing from a young age, she has been placed in several competitions over the past few years, including the V S Pritchett Memorial prize and the H G Wells Short Story Competition.
With a love of the slightly strange, her work often draws on elements of folklore and classical myth, which she enjoys reinterpreting.
She is currently working on her debut collection of short stories.
