Demelza Craven-Lamb

Demelza Craven-Lamb

Born in 1994, Demelza always knew she wanted to be an author and while her first series ‘Pig’ written at the early age of six and predominantly whilst wearing an emerald green leotard (and matching leggings) didn’t quite take off, fortunately she had the persistence to go on.

Demelza graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2016 with a BA Hons in English Literature and Creative Writing. She divides her time between the glorious Sussex South Downs and the beautiful Norfolk Broads.

Her favourite things include… Dusty second hand book shops, artichoke hearts, the sound of raindrops under an umbrella, crunchy leaves, lavender on summer evenings, Exmoor ponies, plovers, a jaunty beret, crystallised rose petals, silk, saddle soap, cold wind on warm cheeks, dying tea lights, full teapots and a compulsion to replace rude outbursts with ‘Golly Goshingtons!’ instead…
