Anca Demeter
Anca Demeter is a Romanian writer living in the UK. She graduated from Babes-Bolyai University with a BA with honours in English and Korean Language and Literature. Once her thesis on Edgar Allan Poe was presented, Anca bought a one way ticket to London. After spending way too much time on the Underground, she decided to move up North.
Here, she lives in a little English house, with her partner and energetic dog, Chilli. Anca is a breakfast food enthusiast, that drinks too much coffee and watches too many horror films.
Anca writes horror and speculative fiction novels, inspired by Romanian and Slavic folklore and myths. Currently, she is focusing on horror middle grade novels set in worlds overflowing with monsters and centered around neurodivergent protagonists.
