Ylva Monsen
Ylva joined the translation rights department at Andrew Nurnberg Associates at the start of 2022 and has been overseeing the Dutch and Nordic territories since 2023. Before joining ANA, she spent a few years at Hardie Grant and Quadrille. Before that she wrote a master thesis about literary translation and soft power.
As of 2025, Ylva also works within the UK department, submitting international titles to UK and US publishers for translation into English alongside her other work. In this role, Ylva’s focus is on the brilliant list of authors from ANA London and ANAI’s 12 international offices, but with exceptions for special projects. A native Norwegian, she also reads Swedish and Danish and would love to work with more Scandinavian authors.
