Andrew Nurnberg
Andrew never intended to become an agent (at least not of the literary sort). He was researching a doctorate in Anglo-Russian diplomatic history, working one day a week at a small literary agency just to keep the wolf from the door. It wasn’t long before he fell in love with the world of publishing and all the scope it could offer for multilingual, cross-border negotiation. Putting the doctorate ‘on hold’, he set up Andrew Nurnberg Associates in 1977, specialising in the international representation of authors. He has never looked back.
