Dunya Mikhail's THE BEEKEEPER OF SINJAR a finalist for the PEN/John Kenneth Galbraith Award

Dunya Mikhail’s highly acclaimed non-fiction debut, THE BEEKEEPER (UK title – THE BEEKEEPER OF SINJAR), has been selected as one of five finalists for the PEN/John Kenneth Galbraith Award for Non Fiction 2019. The winner will be announced on February 26th at a ceremony in New York. THE BEEKEEPER was also longlisted for the National Book Award for Translated Literature.
