Naomi Miller

Naomi Miller is a noted scholar of Renaissance literature and women’s studies, currently based in Massachusetts where she teaches English and the Study of Women and Gender at Smith College. Her debut novel, Imperfect Alchemist, is an imaginative re-invention of the life of Elizabethan countess Mary Sidney Herbert – friend of the Queen and patron of Shakespeare, pioneering scientist, mentor to women writers as well as the young John Donne and Ben Jonson. It will be published in the UK in November 2020.
