Laura Caputo
Laura Caputo is a British-Italian author who grew up in Rome and graduated in languages and literature from universities in Rome and Venice, before moving to rural Kent, in England, where she now lives with her family. Having spent pretty much every holiday visiting her grandparents in their medieval village in central Italy, Laura has amassed a stack of stories from this charming world, where life runs more slowly, a full stomach is everything and privacy is as rare as a white truffle.
Laura is currently working as a part-time school librarian where she gets to talk books all the time – as well as doing a bit of sneaky research on what kids like (and don’t like!) to read. She is also involved with the Page Turners Book Awards, an annual, themed book award for teenagers & young adults in South East England, run by a committee of school librarians.
Laura Caputo is represented by Gyamfia Osei.
