Kara Beecroft lives in Blyth, Northumberland with her husband and identical twin girls. No dog, but she’s working on that. She has had an unusual career working for Newcastle United FC, owning an Italian restaurant and now delivers workplace training. When Kara isn’t writing, she can be found walking along the beach or with her head in a good book. Her dream is to have a garden big enough to house goats, chickens and ten golden retrievers.

Kara writes strong boy-led characters with bucket-loads of humour and heart. She is represented by Gyamfia Osei.
