After studying history and social science at Cambridge University, Heather trained as a business journalist. She spent ten years writing and editing B2B magazines, before becoming a freelance writer and media consultant. Her work has appeared in The Times and Dow Jones Financial News as well as a range of specialist titles. Since completing the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook novel writing course at Bloomsbury Publishing, Heather has been hard at work on two literary crime novels. Her short story ‘Drowning in Debt’ was published in Afraid of the Light, a collection of stories written by crime writers, released in April 2020. She lives in St Albans with her husband and two children.
