After studying history and social science at Cambridge University, Heather trained as a business journalist. She spent ten years writing and editing B2B magazines, before becoming a freelance writer and media consultant. Her work has appeared in The Times and Dow Jones Financial News as well as a range of specialist titles. Since completing the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook novel writing course at Bloomsbury Publishing, Heather has been hard at work on a literary crime novel. In 2020, her short stories ‘Drowning in Debt’ and ‘Heavenly Peace’ were published in Afraid of the Light and Afraid of the Christmas Lights, collections of stories written by crime writers. She lives in St Albans with her husband and two children.
