David Marsden
David Marsden was born in Malaysia in 1962 to Anglo-German parents. After years of travelling, his family settled in the home counties and David set off to University. He did not complete his degree but fled to the excitement of 80s London. He tried a variety of jobs – in the civil service, the County Court, in IT and as a postman – but gravitated towards the soil, to plants and to gardens. In 2011, as a self-employed gardener, be began writing his award-winning blog, The Anxious Gardener, connecting him with gardeners, readers, and writers from all over the globe.
He lives with his partner in the Cotswolds. He has just completed the University of Gloucestershire Creative Writing course, graduating with a first and was awarded the Francis Close Hall Creative Writing Award.
David is represented by Charlotte Merritt.
