SWEETPEA TV rights to See-Saw Films

ANA are delighted that C J Skuse’s upcoming debut adult thriller, Sweetpea (HQ, April 2017), has been optioned for TV by See-Saw Films, in a deal between Hakan Kousetta at See-Saw Films and Emily Hayward Whitlock at the Artists Partnership in association with the author’s agent, Jenny Savill of Andrew Nurnberg Associates.
Sweetpea chronicles a year in the life of an ambitious but bored young woman living and working in a small British town. By day her job as an editorial assistant is demeaning and unsatisfying, but outside of work she turns to altogether darker, grislier pursuits. Because the girl everyone overlooks might just be able to get away with murder…
